“This is literally pouring my heart out with such a deep sense of gratitude I have for you Milind Sir!
I reached out to Milind when I exhausted other means to resolve the ever-increasing issues in my marriage. I was completely hopeless and decided to take responsibility to figure out everything that I felt was going south.
Initially, when I reached out, the idea I had was that he would provide some sort of immediate solution or in software terms “patches” and when applied will fix the problems or at least will help me “keep the ship afloat”.
But what ended up happening is Milind introduced me to a completely different world of living powerfully as a human being!!
He helped me discover and explore the endless capabilities that lie “within” which helped me transform and shape myself to be a better version of myself. Forget about just marriage problems, he instead helped me address so many deep issues which I had accepted as my personality over time while growing up.
Some of the prominent ones were:
• I struggled to value myself.
• I struggled to manage my emotions when my surroundings were uncomfortable. Every time I was put in a difficult spot emotionally, I reacted.
• I struggled with accepting who I was.
• I struggled with my failures.
• I struggled in prioritizing my own needs.
Milind not just coached me to improve upon all the above aspects, he helped me move out of the “reaction zone” and trained me to live my life in the “response zone” instead.
Though I could not save my marriage, his coaching transformed me enough where I could take a strong decision to come out of a marriage where two people should never have been together based on their belief systems.
Without his coaching I would have continued living a life of “avoiding responsibility” and two people would have suffered for don’t know how long even though my ex-wife was trying as hard as I was to make it work. In fact, the transformation that his coaching brought in me helped me to deal with my divorce proceedings so powerfully.
There is a book by John Kim titled “I used to be a miserable fuck” and that’s almost who I was when I first reached out to Milind. After almost close to 30 sessions in two years with him I grew exponentially as a man and became a version of myself which I am so proud of now.
I still snap back at times but I am now much more aware that I am going backward and all I need is to relax or look at notes from Milind’s coaching sessions and other books (this reading habit I developed with Milind’s help as well) to come back to “living powerfully”.
Moreover, the learning never stops and he put me on an onward and upward journey forever.
Nutshell: I struggled to make decisions when I reached out to him but somehow it turned out to be one of the most beautiful decisions I ever took or will be taking in the future.
P.S. He sent me a WA message me saying “Please put my name in the testimonial. I should not be ashamed of who I was and who I am now.” (Alok.. you are extraordinary!)
Thank you. That is a very moving post.
It take a lot of courage to share your personal challenges.
Absolutely Ravish!
