“I discovered what it takes to be happy.”

Jagdish Agrawal, Surgeon – Rajkot.

“It’s a privilege for me to write a testimonial for Milind.

I was dealing with various breakdowns in my life.
1) I had extreme relationship issues with my dad.
2) I was spending way too much time on Whatsapp and Facebook on my mobile phone to the extent that it had started affecting my married life and professional life.
3) I was careless about my health and was growing obese.
4) I had a tough time in my marriage of 8 years where I could not learn the love language of my partner and was having an unsatisfied married life.
5) Professionally I was extremely uncomfortable dealing with my patients, especially when it came to monetary dealings.

It was then that I decided to get life coaching before things went from bad to worse and I found Milind on the internet. Milind is a patient listener and never judged me whenever I shared with him my deepest and truest feelings. He has been a silent guide who coached me every week to deal with one problem at a time.

I discovered many of my blind spots which were not even on my coaching agenda and because of this I benefited much more than I thought I would. These blind spots were areas in my life which were not working and I was not even aware of them. (like how I was uncomfortable asking for fees from my clients, something I have to do daily, thereby belittling myself for the services I provide)

Now..
1) I have an amazing relationship with my father. I transformed my way of being and as a by-product he himself changed a lot without me taking any steps to fix him.
2) My social media phone is now separate and I no longer take it home. My weekly coaching calls helped me stay disciplined on this aspect and this has given me lot of mindspace to do other creative things.
3) I have begun working on my health.
4) I freely express my love to my wife. Instead of reacting, I am able to respond calmly in conversations with her and there are no more verbal spats. This is the kind of internal peace I have got not only in marriage but also in every relationship.
5) I am extremely free now while dealing with my clients. I confidently quote them fees which I now believe are worth my services.

Most importantly I have discovered what it takes to be happy. I have had innumerable incidents in the last few days like nagging father, failed travel plans, misbehaving kids, complicated clients, failing health, but none of these have made me unhappy. I am experiencing now that happiness is overrated and not dependent on people, things or situations.

I always believe that there’s always a next step to improve, to achieve or to develop. So I believe that these 12 weeks have completed the agenda with which I had started life coaching but now new horizons have opened up, and I have started seeing beyond the small issues which had tied me up. I now have a broader vision for which I believe coaching will definitely act as a catalyst to enhance my performance, keep me accountable and support me.”
